Pet Food Recall Update

As of 11/15/09

The most recently reported incidence regarding defective or contaminated pet foods are:

• Pet Carousel Treats™- Pigs Ears and Beef Hooves: on November 5th 2009, the FDA issued an alert that samples of the products may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. The affected products were distributed nationwide, including pet food chain stores and in pet food. The pig ear products were packaged under the brand names Doggie Delight™ and Pet Carousel™. The affected beef hooves were packaged under the brand names Choo Hooves™, Dentley’s Doggie Delight™, and Pet Carousel™ For more information, check out the FDA site
